Brahmaso Association is the largest funeral assistance association in Mandalay. On May 7, 1998, the Brahmaso Social Assistance Association was founded in Mandalay. Taung Salin Sayadaw U Tikha gave permission to use a two-hundred-foot plot of land in the school compound, which became the headquarters of the association. Sayadaw U Tikha serves as the patron of the association. Nadi Myanmar U Aung Khaing and Daw Nyo Mi’s family donated a hearse, and since April 4, 2000, they have been providing medical assistance to those in need. At the time of its establishment, Daw Ama (Ludu) also served as the patron and guided the association. In addition to providing free funeral assistance, the association also provides financial assistance to patients who cannot afford hospital expenses. Now, the association has opened a clinic and is providing free treatment. Before the opening of the clinic, the association was receiving treatment at the hospital and helping patients who cannot afford it at a rate of 200,000 kyats per day, said Sein Win(Ludu). More than 2 years ago, a donor donated land to build a hospital, but the government did not allow construction, so the construction could not be completed, and only a clinic is being opened and treated. The activities of the association in Upper Myanmar have been quite effective. The exact number of people who have benefited is not yet known. The current leaders of the Brahmaso Organisation are Chairperson- Prof. Dr. Nyein Nyein, Secretary - U Maung Maung Tar and another doctor.
